Joy isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you create. In the big moments and the small ones, in the beautifully imperfect, wonderfully unexpected parts of everyday life. That’s what JoyJolt is all about: turning ordinary moments into something special, with a little extra style, a little extra thoughtfulness, and a whole lot of heart.
For Martin Mittelman, joy wasn’t always easy to find. When his daughter was young, she battled cancer. During that time, life wasn’t about big celebrations—it was about making the most of small, fleeting moments. A meal shared in a hospital room. A stranger’s small act of kindness. The little things that, for a moment, made everything feel lighter.
That experience shaped everything that JoyJolt stands for today: finding joy in the everyday, embracing what’s in front of you, and making even the simplest moments feel meaningful.
Along with his brother Joel, Martin built JoyJolt with a simple idea: great design should be effortless, versatile, and bring joy to real life. What started as a small business grew into a brand that helps people celebrate both the big moments and the everyday ones—the sip, the serve, the way you make a space your own.
Today, JoyJolt is still family-owned and Brooklyn-based, creating glassware, drinkware, serveware, and storage essentials that bring a little more joy to the way you live. Whether you’re hosting friends, setting the table, or just pouring yourself a well-earned nightcap, we’re here to make the everyday feel like something worth celebrating.
Because joy isn’t just something you feel—it’s something you make.
